Inspired by the Alaskan Creole, descendants of Alaskans and Russians who still live in Alaska, this collection imagines a future for their community. In this vision, religion serves as the center of life, while warmth symbolizes both wealth and the absence of sacrifice to God.

Purchasing materials can be expensive, so I decided to find a way to make a sustainable garment made fully from sticks I picked up on my way to the studio.

This garment draws inspiration from my background as a dancer and was created entirely from the repurposed materials of a thrifted wedding dress.
